From paper to pixels
ITA designs, develops, and delivers a wide range of digital document solutions. ITA can convert paper-based documents into searchable electronic documents via scanning and optical-character recognition (OCR). Output can be Portable Document Format (PDF) HTML web pages, Microsoft Word Documents, or a number of other formats.
Packaged and published
ITA can take these new electronic documents and/or already existing ones, and turn them into reference tools such as dictionaries, databases, and phone books, but also more sophisticated multimedia object databases that track pictures, video clips, and/or sounds. Normal features such as bookmarks, cut and paste, and robust searches are typical elements of these products. Finally, ITA can custom develop Forms that use data previously keyed into other areas, automatically add up fields, and can be printed, e-mailed, or shared.
Past examples
Examples of ITA's past digital document products include a Federal Regulations library; a full multimedia searchable information database; gun databases with pictures and break-down clips on how to disassemble certain weapons; automated travel forms and reimbursement vouchers; and secure, encrypted libraries for classified information.
